Compass Medical Radiology offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging services supported through close collaboration with Jefferson Radiology with more than 70 Radiologists. Through this affiliation, a team of Board Certified Radiologists from Jefferson Radiology interprets images on-site at Compass Medical on a full-time basis. They adhere to strict guidelines for quickly reporting detailed results to referring physicians and are experienced interpreting any type of imaging study for any clinical need. When necessary, the Radiologists practicing at Compass Medical consult with subspecialists experts at Jefferson Radiology via a rapid, secure teleradiology network.

HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR MEDICAL IMAGES

You are guaranteed access to your medical imaging studies under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Your image files are typically stored at the facility where you had your exam. When you request your medical images, you will be asked to sign a release form. The images will typically be available in one of these formats:

  • A CD
  • Shared through Ambra Health which provides a solution for medical image sharing between patients, physicians and hospitals
