Colleen has clinical interests in cardiology and preventative medicine. Particular interests include the management of chronic heart disease and heart failure through lifestyle modification including smoking cessation, diet, exercise, and appropriate medication management.
Colleen graduated in 2009 from UMass Boston with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner), as well as earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2004 from Georgetown University. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Colleen was employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with CVS Minute Clinic from 2009 to 2012 serving the South of Boston market. Prior to this, Colleen was a Registered Nurse with Massachusetts Hospital from 2004 to 2009 within the Interventional Cardiology Unit. Colleen began her career as a Nursing Assistant at the Emergency Room of South Shore Hospital as a Collegiate Aide from 2001 to 2004.
