Diabetic Educator

Patti LoPresti, RDN, CDE  has 20+ years experience as a Certified Diabetes Educator, 40 years as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, and 10+ years as a Diabetes Education Program Coordinator. She specializes in teaching the skills and knowledge necessary to self-manage diabetes and decrease risk of future health complications. From healthy eating, physical activity guidelines, medication/insulin administration, glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, and coping with stress/diabetes distress, she partners with patients with the goal of improving their overall health and quality of life. In addition to her role as Diabetes Educator she will oversee our Diabetes Self-Management Education Program which was first certified by the ADA in 2006 and is committed to providing excellence to our patients and community by maintaining the Standards of Care for people with diabetes as identified by the American Diabetes Association.
