Samar A. Choubah, M.D. is board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism, Obesity Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Choubah attended Medical School at the Lebanese University – Faculty of Medical Sciences in Beirut and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York, where she also completed her Geriatric Medicine fellowship. She then went on to complete her Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at New York University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Choubah practiced Endocrinology in Charleston, West Virginia for four years at her own private practice before moving to Massachusetts in 2006 where she has been practicing since. Dr. Choubah is also an educator, teaching at NYU Medical School, West Virginia University, and most recently, as a faculty member of Brockton Hospital’s Transitional Year Residency Program. She holds multiple society memberships including The Endocrine Society, The American Diabetes Association, and The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. Choubah is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
